Summary Miss Brooks a librarian and children from California sent Laura Ingalls Wilder a gift on her 86th birthday, which consisted of true-to-life figures of characters from her books. Laura gave them to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Library in Mansfield, MO. The librarian Docia Holland arranged for recording an interview with Laura concerning the figures. This is the only known recording of the voice Laura Ingalls Wilder. Songs on Laura's father's fiddle follow the interview
