Summary An interview with Ruth Kent, a Holocaust survivor, conducted by Dr. Sidney Bolkosky, Professor of History at the University of Michigan--Dearborn. Ruth Kent was born in Łódź, Poland in 1930. Following the German invasion of Poland, Ruth and her family (her mother, three brothers, and two cousins) were forced to move to the Łódź ghetto. Her family was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1944 where her mother and youngest brother perished. Ruth and her cousin were then sent to Stutthof concentration camp near Danzig, Poland. Ruth now lives in the United States
