Summary A documentary that narrates the lives of today's Aramaic speaking Christians who call themselves Assyrians, Syriacs and Chaldeans. They are members of the Chaldean Catholic Church, Assyrian Church of the East, Syriac Orthodox or Syriac Catholic Churches, and were the first to evangelize China and Mongolia during the Golden Age of the Arabic Empire. In 1915, together with the Armenians, they were victims of a genocide and many fled to Europe and the United States. Living as refugees or oppressed minorities, they run the risk of loosing the culture and traditions they have preserved through the centuries. The film was shot on location in Ur, Babylon, Baghdad, Mosul, Algosh, Dohuk, South-East Turkey, Sytira, Europe and the United States
