Summary Judy regrets that she is leaving Farringdon for a vacation just as the police are on the trail of counterfeiters. However, excitement follows Judy to the Thousand Islands when she impulsively purchases seven Indian masks at an auction only to find out they are rumored to be cursed. Judy thinks it's nonsense that misfortune follows whomever owns the moster heads until the heads begin to appear and disappear, change location within the storage box, and mysterious sounds are heard at night. The monster heads appear to be alive! Judy's search for a logical explanation proves to be more exciting and dangerous than she could ever have imagined
