Summary "Glass sculptor Dale Chihuly's remarkable creations are part of more than 200 museum collections worldwide. This program captures Chihuly at work with his studio team as they produce pieces for an ambitious installation at San Francisco's de Young Museum. Chihuly at the de Young took more than two years to execute, and the artist's signature collaborative process, documented here, was integral to its success. Footage of the exhibit itself allows viewers a close look at Saffron Tower, Mille Fiori, Glass Forest, and other important works. The video also includes commentary from Frank Gehry, and artists, art critics, and museum executives"
