Mr. Nersesian was born in Fenesse, Turkey. At age thirteen his formal education was ended due to the exile of the Armenians in 1915. He was self taught. He spent many years writing of his memories of from the past, in stories and poetry, and continued to be very active in the Armenian-American Community until his death in 1980. . . . Also included are speeches that he wrote and delivered at special Armenian commemorations and on the radio, poems written for the Armenian Old Age Home in Detroit, a partial dictionary of translations of the Evereg-Fenesse dialect, and familiar Armenian adages--letter enclosed from the widow of Nerses Nersesean, Arshalooys Nersesian of Royal Oak, Michigan (who prepared the book for printing)
