Summary Jack Miller, the curator for the Automotive Heritage Museum & Miller Motors Hudson, was interviewed by Kae Halonen as part of the Center for the Study of Automotive Heritage's MotorCities Memories Oral History Project. Mr. Miller grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan. His family has been in the automotive business since 1912, working predominately with the Hudson Motor Car Company dealerships. Jack recounts the history of the company, from its incorporation in 1909 until it was acquired by Nash Motor Company in 1954 to form American Motor Company. Much of the history is from the perspective of the dealership and what happened as the company changed. As curator of the Automotive Heritage Museum & Miller Motors Hudson, Jack talks about other small automobile companies such as Kaiser and Frazer and the "orphan cars" they produced
