Summary Tim Foley, a union activist and organizer for the UAW was interviewed by Kae Halonen as part of the Center for the Study of Automotive Heritage's MotorCities Memories Oral History Project. Mr. Foley talks about his life and work in the union from 1954 to his retirement in 2000. He started out working in the auto industry in the electrical department but eventually worked in the Union President's office under Walter Reuther and at various other positions within the Union
